This workshop is designed for families and educators who are teaching children with vastly different ages, abilities, and developmental capacities at the same time, for example a 5 year old and a 16 year old sharing one learning block.

Rather than separating children by age or increasing instructional time, ICONIX shows you how to use the same lesson, the same materials, and the same time block while assigning different roles, depths, and expectations.

You will learn how ICONIX lessons are built to function on multiple levels at once. Younger children engage through movement, imagery, and concrete play, while older students take on leadership, abstraction, explanation, and strategy. One child may be doing, another may be directing, and another may be teaching, all within the same activity.

This workshop also addresses one of the biggest challenges in homeschool environments, fatigue. We show you how to shift out of verbal overload and into game based, role driven learning that restores energy instead of draining it. You will learn how to rotate roles, pace activities, and use short, intentional games to keep attention high without increasing effort.

We explore different types of ICONIX games, visual, movement based, associative, and applied, and how to scale each one up or down instantly. You will walk away knowing how to meet children where they are developmentally, without slowing anyone down or leaving anyone behind.

This is not about doing more. It is about designing learning that works for everyone at once.
