Terms of Service
ICONIX Learning Pods · Effective July 19, 2026
1. Who we are, and what these terms cover
ICONIX Learning Pods ("ICONIX," "we," "us") operates an online homeschool learning community where teacher-led pods publish weekly lessons, live sessions, community discussion, and progress tracking, and where families can purchase recorded workshops. These terms are a contract between you and [operator legal name] governing your use of the service. By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to them, and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Accounts are for adults: you must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of any child you add. Children do not get logins — a child appears only as a learner record that you create and control, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your account credentials and for the accuracy of what you provide.
3. Membership, billing, and cancellation
Browsing the public site is free. Access to pods, the curriculum library and the School Box requires the Family Plan: one subscription per household, at the price shown before you subscribe, covering every child in your family. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see your full card details.
Your first month is charged in full on the day you join, whatever day of the month that is, and every month after that is charged on the 1st. If you join in the last few days of a month, that first payment also covers the following month.
You can cancel at any time from your account. Access continues through the period you have already paid for, and we do not refund partial periods unless the law where you live requires it. If a payment fails we keep your access open for a short grace period and email you before anything closes, and your children's records are never deleted when a membership lapses.
[Pending counsel review — earned billing credits]Where the Perfect Month program is active for your household, a renewal charge for a pod may be reduced when that pod's weekly videos for the qualifying period have all been signed off, on the criteria shown in the service at the time. Any reduction applies only to a later renewal charge for that pod — never to the first payment you make when you join — must be earned again in each billing period, and has no cash value. The program is a standing feature of the service rather than a time-limited promotion, and we may change or end it going forward as described in Section 8.
4. One-time purchases (workshops and assessments)
Workshops and assessments are one-time purchases tied to your household account. They give your household ongoing access to the recording and materials for personal, non-commercial use — they are licensed to you, not sold, and may not be re-shared, re-sold, or redistributed.
5. Your content and ours
You keep ownership of what your family posts and uploads; you give us the limited license needed to host and display it inside the service. The ICONIX curriculum, lessons, frameworks (including Visuflect™), recordings, and branding are ours or our licensors' and are protected by copyright and trademark law — you may use them within the service and print materials for your own family's learning, and nothing more.
6. Community conduct
This is a community with children's families in it. No harassment, hate, sexual content, spam, scraping, impersonation, or attempts to break or probe the service. Pod leaders and administrators may remove content or accounts that put the community at risk; where practical we'll warn you first.
7. Educational disclaimer
ICONIX provides curriculum and community support — it is not a school, does not award accredited diplomas, and does not provide medical, psychological, or legal advice. You remain responsible for compliance with the homeschooling laws that apply to your family.
8. Service changes and termination
We may add, change, or retire features as the service evolves. You can close your account at any time (with export and deletion rights described in the Privacy Policy); we may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.
9. Disclaimers and limits of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Changes to these terms; contact
If we materially change these terms we'll notify account holders and update the effective date above; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the changes. Questions about these terms: [contact email]. Governing law: [state].
